Arrived to find all of the tables squashed in front of the stage with over half of the rroom empty at the back, normally there is a dance floor at the front but this time nowhere was left to dance which was a shame at an even such as this, many if not 3/4 of the audience failed to participate with many men looking bored and dozing off which really irked the performer obviously notnsure why these people booked tickets to a Robbie Williams Tribute only to look bored and miserable and not join in, very puzzling to me. Also those not having the meal where normally would be on smaller tables of just their group were all put on one long table meaning they were all in a row and couldn't interact or talk to each other so we spent an evening with our friends not being able to chat, so was quite a disappointment on this occasion. I hope Aspers learn from this and go back to the old way of round tables in future.

The comedy acts themselves were not great, but that said - we will continue to attend these nights out to support these artists and venues. Glad it was only £15 per ticket.

This was a real shame, apart from the headline act - the comedy was shocking. “MC” was poor and didn’t/couldn’t warm up the crowd. The first act was very non-relevant off-topic comedy and went down like a lead balloon and he knew it. We didn’t think it could get worse than that…. Then act two - I have no words, if there was another break we would have just left. Unfortunately/fortunately there wasn’t and the headline act came on a did a pretty decent performance (I think we all needed it).
Overall - venue was good, food/service was good. Comedy, I wouldn’t class it as a comedy night

What an awful evening! Everything about the set up & evening was wrong. Who knows what was going on with the ‘comedians’ whether it was due to the loud noise from the gambling area downstairs or because inviting the ‘high rollers’ who don’t actually like comedy was the issue but it was a just cringeworthy evening. I could give you lots of constructive feedback if you wish.
An enclosed private room should be used.
The breaks in between acts was far too long, audience went cold & lots of people just left.
The ‘comedians’ concentrated & chatting to the same few people almost just private conversation to them, particularly the compare being obsessed about having a one to one conversation with the Aspers ‘top dog’ the audience didn’t care if he was the owner of Aspers, it was just boring!
The room set up was completely wrong,
People who bought ‘show ticket only’ opposed to dinner ticket were made to feel like they weren’t welcome. Told to just sit where a seat was left, two there & two there, not ideal when we were in a group of 4.
We paid £60 for our tickets, feel very disappointed!
If you’re going to put on an event like this again you really need to up your game!
