Newcastle Trance Events return with their first event of 2024 and return in style as we welcome a massive headliner and one of the hottest producers on the Trance scene currently. We are proud to host the mercurial Trance titan that is Will Rees!

We are back at SR44 for our fourth instalment at the venue and can’t wait for another NTE takeover and a huge night of Trance once again!

Will Rees is a Welsh electronic music DJ & Producer, specialising in Uplifting & Tech Trance music. Some may know him as the Welsh Wizard! Will caught the music bug at the young age of 14 after being massively inGluenced by his older brother’s taste in music. He became a resident DJ at Wales’ super club Escape at the age of 19 and was playing alongside huge names such as Eddie Halliwell, Ferry Corsten, Simon Patterson & John Askew. Will went on to become one of the scenes best music producers. His first release was supported on BBC Radio 1 (UK’s biggest radio station) 3 weeks in a row, but started to turn heads in the year 2015 when he began to release on Bryan Kearney’s Kearnage Recordings. His unique sound of euphoric melodies & driving basslines have landed him releases that are consistently reaching the top of the Beatport charts including ‘Need You’ a modern Trance classic, ‘Burnin’ Up’, ‘Vitality’, ‘Waking Dream’ & his massive remix for the worlds biggest Trance DJ Armin Van Buuren ‘Clear Blue Moon’. He is regularly seen releasing his music on Kearnage Recordings, Armada, Outburst & Subculture. On top of this, he has remixed for artists such as Armin Van Buuren, Gareth Emery & Bryan Kearney, Craig Connelly & Mark Sherry to name a few. His passion and dedication to the scene has taken him to some of the worlds biggest dance events including CreamGields, Dreamstate, FSOE, Fabric, Ministry Of Sound & has played all over the world including USA, Asia & all over Europe. Will is known for being one of the most consistent producers in the scene today. He has over 10 years of experience behind him and plenty of success to date, but the best is yet to come…

Will’s latest release, a massive remix of Sneijder’s “In an Out Of My Life” looks set to take the Trance charts by storm, an amazing Remix which can is sure to set dance floors alight in the coming weeks and months! 🔥🔥🔥
