Review of Gatecrasher Classical Newcastle
Amazing night. We were told in the queue that it was going to start an hour later but that was just as well as it took 50 minutes to get served at the bar. We went again to try and get drinks half way through but it was still ridiculous. other than wanting another drink it was totally amazing. The after party was also unreal.

Review of Gatecrasher Classical Newcastle
The city hall was a poor choice of venue for this event as you are not allowed to Dance anywhere other than the very small space in front of your seat! The music was excellent and the atmosphere great but our experience was somewhat spoiled by the meticulous stewards who kept telling us to move or sit down. There are better venues in Newcastle to host an event like this. I won't return if it is at the City Hall again but would definitely attend the event at another venue

Review of Gatecrasher Classical Newcastle
This is the first time to my knowledge that the clubbing brand Gatecrasher has come to Newcastle. I have always wanted to see Gatecrasher Classical so was over the moon to find it was coming up North. The event itself was amazing! I loved the lasers and the orchestra and sound were incredible. I attended this event on my own and have fantastic memories/photos and videos to last a lifetime. It really is true what the h**htag states #itwillalwaysbewithyou. I would definitely go again and highly recommend this event. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Gatecrasher, Scott Bond and the fabulous orchestra come back to Newcastle soon. Maybe holding it in a bigger venue next time like 'The Sage'?
On a side note the only thing to let it down was the delay in the event starting. It stated 6pm -11pm on my E-ticket from Skiddle. Yet the email from Gatecrasher a few days before said doors opened 7pm, last entry at 8pm and event starts 8.30pm. Yet we were left waiting looking at an empty stage until after 9pm before Judge Jules appeared announcing a 90 minute performance was about to start? For someone that paid just under £50 for a ticket I was very disappointed to have such a short show. No announcement or apology was given from him.
I have since found out via the Gatecrasher website that apparently the DJ who was doing the warmup set didn't turn up and there was also a near evacuation due to a fire alarm going off. Yet none of this was announced to the hundreds of people sitting waiting patiently. I understand these mishaps occur but a little common courtesy in future would be much appreciated so people understand what's going on.
