Legacy Presents Graham Gold on Saturday 4th May 2019
LEGACY presents Graham Gold and Jamie Tripper at The Whiskey Jar in the Northern Quarter, Manchester.
A former Textile Mill, the basement has been fitted with a D&B Sound System to compliment this Underground and Intimate space that will host a night of Progressive House and Progressive & Melodic Techno.
Everyone into the House scene back in the mid 90's knows of Jamie and most over 30’s will know of Graham Gold. But forget everything you heard from Graham before, those trance days are well and truly over! Since he relocated to Koh Phangan, Thailand, often referred to as S.E.Asia’s Ibiza, he returned to his more Housier roots, in particular the sound he used to go raving to once a month back in 1999-2003 Bedrock.
Totally nailing the Progressive House and Progressive Techno genres, his insatiable desire for quality music and perfection in delivering a set, has made him one of the most booked DJ's on Koh Phangan and beyond. He undertook his first 5 gig Goa tour in February this year. Do not expect to hear any 90’s classics, but come with an open mind and enjoy superb underground Progressive House and Melodic Techno.
Supporting Graham, is ofcourse another legend - Jamie Trippier.
Jamie started his DJ career in the mid 90’s. He has had the privilege of playing in countries across the world from the USA, Asia, Middle East and Europe, and in cities such as San Francisco, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hamburg and Geneva. He has played along side DJ’s such as Roger Sanchez, Joeski & Onionz, Mustafa, Doc Martin, John Julius Knight and Marshall Jefferson to name but a few.
On a production front Jamie is currently collaborating with Christophe Lox and has had releases with Colin Airey on Steve Lawler’s Harlem Trax label which had support from DJ’s Steve Lawler, Sasha & John Digweed and Pete Tong. Look out for new releases and collaborations coming in 2019…
Jamie has also played Creamfields 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018.
