A little introduction the DJs playing at the party:
Oriel: Arguably one of the best Techno DJ's in Manchester! Having been on the DJ scene for over 14 years and a Techno aficionado for 20 years + Oriel is one of the finest selectors out there. Her style is unique and uncompromising which are characterised by her nights she regularly puts on with her project Chamber, who have brought some of the most cutting edge Techno artists to MCR such as Truss, Tinfoil (DeFeKT & Sunil Sharpe) and Sync 24 as well as showcasing the best Manchester Techno DJs at the legendary Eastern Bloc. Catch her on closing duties upstairs!
Binary: AKA the bees knees when it comes to Manchester Techno. They host monthly shows on Reform Radio and MCR Live showcasing the best tunes from local Manchester DJs as well as being wicked DJs.
CULT: One of the hottest collectives in Manchester, residents KMYA, Josh De Silva & J Derecho will be brining fire to the party to keep us grooving throughout the day! They have hosted some of the most legendary parties in MCR in the last few years with artists such as Mike Huckaby, Answer Code Request and Project Pablo to name a few.
Flute Salad: This funky trio are well known to play super smooth rhythms and their special blend of funky beats will be a treat to listen to whilst having a beer in the sun! Check out their show 'Point of Flute' on Reform Radio!
Dr Mystery has one of the most diverse record collections out there with everything from Afro-funk to Chicago Footwork so we're ULTRA excited to see she brings on the day.
She hosts a monthly show called 'Into-Continental' on Reform Radio. We urge you to check it out because its awesome!
DJ Long Black will be playing an exclusive set for Super Fruits. Hailing from Melbourne Australia and hosting a successful show No Guest List on KISS FM Melbourne. DJ Long Black has been rolling with Kings and Queens of Melbourne's underground music scene and theres no doubt that he will bring along the summer soundtrack to our party.
Kultura Collective These guys are certified MEGA SELECTORS and have held down a residency at Nghtwrk (Wrexham) as well as their own parties at the Zombie Shack. From everything from Disco to dark Electro these guys are great DJs.
Dave Williams is The Groove Master! If you have not seen him before, now is your chance. His is wide and varied but whatever he brings you can be sure of impeccable selections.
Khalid Mwambakale AKA the BOSS when it comes to playing Hip-Hop, UK Jazz and Soul & Funk. He is a true enthusiast and stalwart of the scene.
13A (Aka James Lennon ) will be playing a set exploring his darker side of his Techno and Electro collections. Having hosted After. on Shock Radio for 3 years now, its fair to say he knows a fair bit when it come to mixing Techno/ Electro.
The Mortal Sinner will be unearthing the funkiest machine music he can find. Expect a variety of styles from House & Techno to Electro & Breaks.
