About

British singer, songwriter musician and producer Aiden Grimshaw first rose to prominence as a teenager in 2010, when his gentle vocal style brought comparisons to REM's Michael Stipe. Aiden soon signed to RCA Records, releasing his debut album "Misty Eye" in 2012 to huge critical acclaim.  The Guardian called Grimshaw "A rival to Paolo Nutini" and the BBC claimed it was an album of "adventurous pop" alongside great reviews by Line of Best Fit, Notion, NME and other, helping propel "Misty Eye" into the top 20. Two singles also reached the UK top 20.
After the success of his debut album Aiden took time to hone his craft, refining his artistry as a songwriter and producer, and independently releasing two widely acclaimed EPs.
In 2017, Aiden released a series of singles under the alias Butterjack (with Kitsune, Orchard and others,) including the hugely popular "Good Girls" which amassed over two million plays on Spotify. His collaboration with SMBdy At The Disco, Camden Cox, was remixed by Universal and received support from National Radio.
in 2024, Aiden's latest releases bridge the gap for his fans, melding the two sounds with songs including "Pretender" and "I Couldn't Love You Anymore". Critical support across Apple, with playlists in over 100 countries and Spotify's New Music Friday have ensured all eyes are back on AIden.

Support for the show is TBC.

The event will be raising money for Manchester Mind with 50% of the ticket fee being donated.

Sponsorship of the event comes from design engineer specialists G&M Engineering Associates.

Please note that all tickets will have a £0.50 restoration levy - this is to be made apparent to customers when purchasing tickets. This goes solely towards venue maintenance. Please be sure to add these to own consignments as it will be collected in settlement.
