Sky Valley Mistress

We're the best thing you've never heard.

The Funky Moped - 'Davies is your archetypal front-woman, alluring, hypnotic and nonchalant, she can even do Alison Mosshart better than Alison Mosshart.'

God Is In The TV Zine - 'Their passion for loud old school rock’n’roll is oozing from every pore. A must for any Led Zeppelin enthusiast or a QOTSA fan.'

Pop! Blerd - 'the best thing you’ve never heard. is the best thing you’re likely to discover in 2013.'

Quenched Music - 'Bands like Sky Valley Mistress are a rare breed and should be celebrated.'

Kat Jackman - “With Kayley 'Hell Kitten' Davies on the mic, she's soulful, sultry and absolutely smouldering. Instrumentally, they've done the 60s legends of the genre proud as well as indulging in the full flavour of contemporary inspirations such as Band of Skulls and The Dead Weather. If you like getting down 'n dirty, give this a go.”

The VPME - 'They play a visceral mix of White Stripes style blues tinged rock and roll and lead singer Kayley “Hell Kitten” Davies has a voice of soul and power that belies her years.'

Music Like Dirt - 'Blues with the sound of the Black Belt region but born instead in Blackburn, Lancashire.
They'd fit happily in the CD racks alongside other proponents of the blues, like The Alabama Shakes, and the White Stripes.'

Adjective Animal

Adjective Animal are an English rock band from Salford, Manchester, formed in 2013. The band consists of Conrad Ankers (lead vocals, guitar) and Matt Davies (lead guitar).

Adjective Animal released their debut EP “This Modern Feeling” in 2013. Featuring an experimental and often ambient sound, with themes of coming to terms with change. They were described by The Guardian as ‘downbeat alternative rock’.

They released their first full length record; 'Maia' in July 2013, completely digitally.

The band have developed quickly, from writing songs and recording in a basement at the start of 2013, to performing live at venues around Manchester.

On 21st February 2014, they released a electronic EP under the name of 'VORKA' which uses a much more developed sound, within an electronic setting. This demonstrates a whole new developed and different sound than previous releases

The page of Adjective Animal, a pair of mates who like making noise and sometimes play that noise in front of people and/or post it in various places on the web.

Half Way Home UK

Pure folk tunes. From Manchester. Give us a listen.

Half Way Home started back in the summer of 2013 as a birthday present of all things, the band grew from member to member, until eventually we ended up as a 6-piece group. Bringing different instrumentation, textures and vocal harmonies, we're piecing together the sound of Half Way Home.
