About

‘new house farm’ are a fresh, youthful indie rock band crafting a distinct style in a well trodden genre. Through their shared upbringing of listening to 90s and 00s indie and shoegaze, they meld together their parents’ record collections to create a classic sound with a modern twist inspired by the post punk bands of today.

Formed by school friends Ryan Wood and Alexander Ashton during a particularly dull GCSE Chemistry lesson, the band takes its name from the hometown football pitch the pair grew up playing on. The line-up was later completed with the additions of Joel Wolstencroft, Sebastian Murphy and Alfie Cooper.

With their currently unreleased material showing a darker and harsher side to the band, the new outfit are preparing to release their debut EP early next year.
