We are returning to our off piste den of discotheque delinquency once again with an evening of live electronic music performances & DJ pickings at another Sprechen Presents at The Carlton Club!

Artist, producer, and previously one half of acclaimed post-punk dance duo SINK YA TEETH, Maria Uzor hasa penchant for fusing different genres in her productions & performances which has resulted in a catalogue of creeping, twisting sounds which mixes footwork, dub, rave, avant-pop and early techno.

She has opened for BLACK MIDI, LONE LADY & BABA ALI, and performed at The Great Escape and Shambala festival whilst collaborating with the likes of ACID KLAUS (Adrian Flanagan / Moonlandingz / Eccentronic Research Council) !!! (CHK CHK CHK), A Certain Ratio and Chris Leibing.

LAZYRAVE are a 4 piece electronic band from Newcastle upon Tyne who blend multiple genres in a sound that is both nostalgic yet innovative. Every rave, every afterparty, every live gig is buried deep in their music. Kinetic, atmospheric, evocative, propulsive, grungy, dreamy, euphoric: LAZYRAVE are an authentic collaboration that have earned their sound and lived their lyrics.

DJ support on the night comes from an absolute legend of Manchester and of flipping cool music in general, as Martin Moscrop of A Certain Ratio will be wrapping sounds around both live performances for the evening with assistance from Sprechen's very own Massey.
