For the past twenty years HotR has been the beating heart of the Carlton Club. Started by four friends in 2005 as a space to play records and bring some of the city centre's underground vibe into the suburbs it grew into a local institution as the word spread. Each month the resident DJs select the best music to get the floor rocking from early doors right till finish. It's always been an eclectic mix of both music and ages: we play brand new white label records to 'hands in the air' house, funk, disco classics with some curved balls thrown in to an age range that defies the norm - 20 year olds really do dance with 70 year olds!
