Qweaster Sunday
We have special guest DJ Mark J from Barcelona, making a return to Qwerk
Along with DJs
F&M (B2B)
There's no normal Friday event in April as we have moved to Easter Bank Holiday Sunday instead.
Since Mark moved to Barcelona 14 years ago, Mark has worked with many of the country's coolest electronic music brands such as Blanco y Negro Records (A&R with Vendetta Records), Loca FM (Broadcaster) & Pacha Sitges playing regularly at the first ever Pacha in the world for 5 years.
He began a record label with Slovenian DJ and producer, Girandon, called Radioactivity Productions featuring himself, Girandon, Tony Thomas, Dani Sbert & Rob Small on the artists roster with tracks that are still available on digital download stores today.
Mark has also released tracks & co-productions on Tony Thomas' imprint Progress Records and remixed techno legend Devilfish on Barcelona's Ahoren Music with production partner Teysel.
He has headlined at events in 7 different countries and has supported some of the world's finest electronic music artists including Agoria, Justin Robertson, Silicone Soul, Alan Fitzpatrick, Vince Watson, Ben Sims, Stanton Warriors, John Jacobsen, Funk D'Void, Tony Verdi, Mikel Molina, Cipy, Triumph, Parks n' Wilson, King Unique, Devilfish to name just a few in his 20+ years behind the decks.
His sessions have won admiration, support and critical acclaim from Loca FM (Spain), Global House Radio (Spain), Dcoded Magazine (Spain), Barcelona Connect Magazine (before working there), Robert Babicz (Germany), Solarstone (UK), Jondi & Spesh (USA), Shiba San (DirtyBird) and Afterlife (Cafe del Mar).
Like-minded friendly up for it crowd with an accessible sound. Our DJs are tasked with discovering new musical gems that fit our desired vibe blending new beats with classic sounds resulting in a funky, vocal, bouncy feel.
We encourage Qwerkers to be themselves, we don’t define our crowd by age, gender, or sexuality, and what you wear is entirely up to you. Most of all we ask that you respect those around you, don’t be a dick and have fun!

Music Genres:

Acid House, Funky House, House, Prog House, Tech House
