Dea Collective presents and evening of unique female talent in a beautuful Church in South Manchester. This will be Dea Collective's second show, featuring predominantly female artists all of which are doing exciting things in the local music industry.
Headlining are Canter Semper with support coming from Nicky Phillips and Sanja Cin
Canter Semper
Centred around the velvety harmonies of vocalists Sarah Adams, Emma Brewin-Caddy and Ruth Parry, since their formation in 2013, Canter Semper have evolved and nurtured a compelling brand of “Vintage Gospel” completely their own.
Weaving harmony driven melodies and earnest whole-hearted lyricism into otherworldly jazz-tinged soundscapes, their sound drifts in the same blissful stratospheres of contemporaries like The Staves or Wyvern Lingo yet it is underpinned with a comforting touch familiar to those classic soul records.
Very much at home on the live stage, memorable appearances at the Manchester’s finest Haunts from The Deaf Institute and Band on the Wall as well as their sold-out show earlier this year at The Carlton Club have seen them enchant growing audiences year on year.

Sanja Cin
Sanja writes (soft) pop songs. And it's the often not thought-through stories that are interesting, like the endless barking of the neighbours dog, or the jealousy about the friend's friend, but also more song like themes about break-ups, heart-breaks and resilience

Nicky Phillips
Nicky Phillips is a singer-songwriter based in the North West England. She describes her music as 'confessions wrapped in an indie-folk-pop style'. Her song releases have been well-recieved by blogs, radio and playlists and if you catch her on stage you can expect an intimate, open-hearted performance.
