The 99 Degree, The Maitlands, Deh-Yey & Leon the Pig Farmer on Saturday 9th November 2019

Surf trash sisters and brothers! THE 99 DEGREE are back! New line-up, new mini-album! Hear it very live here and with their favourite friends for your judgement and delight. Viva la Cow-Punk, Surfsploitation, Mondo-Trasho mayhem! Viva EL MONSTRUO!

EL MONSTRUO was recorded in Fat White Family's old studio in Sheffield with Serfs Up engineer Jack Howorth at the helm over four days whilst living as a love and terror cult in an AirBnB in Rotherham. Come hither into our untrustworthy arms and let us tell you five maniacal tales...

'Scuzzy, reverb-drenched fuzz garage like the Gun-Club with a hangover - a dishevelled rock n roll with seat of the pants, daredevil riffola, garage clatter and Link Wray dervish licks and a charismatic frontman who has got the caveman stomp down to perfection' - John Robb, Louder Than War.

We will be joined by these special, special guests...

'Born in Manchester and described as lying between a drunk Smiths and a sober Fall it's hard to not make the connection but with their punk roots The Maitlands are carving their own unique sound.'

Tom Maude drums as if his life depends on it, and Cash Burns riffs as though trying to summon the Devil. New single ‘Danephesians 4:31’ is a tongue in cheek retelling of a Biblical story – Imagine it now – Jesus on the Jeremy Kyle show. And that is what sets Deh-Yey aside from the usual heavy guitar band contemporaries. How many songs do you know that reference both Star Wars and The Proclaimers in the opening line?

'None swine culling Spoken word.. With rhythm and rhyme, or random ramblings without rhyme or reason!!'

Music Genres:

Blues, Punk
