Downfall of Gaia - 21:50 - 22:50
The German masters of atmospheric blackened sludge metal. Downfall of Gaia seamlessly blend elements of black metal, sludge, hardcore and post rock in what promises to be an intense and emotionally resonant display of epic extremities.
Gnaw Their Tongues - 19:45 - 20:15
The brainchild of Dutch musician Maurice de Jong, Gnaw Their Tongues uses extreme electronics and noise with influences of black metal and dark ambient to create a suffocating and haunting portrait of repulsive self-hatred. A bleak and unforgettable experience that will push your senses to the very limit!
Space Witch - 20:35 - 21:20
Stoke-on-Trent based purveyors of astral drone, piercing electronics and crushing Sludge Doom.
They're just about to release their new album 'Arcanum', which has been described as 'one of the band’s finest and [most] suffocating compositions to date'!
Groak - 19:00 - 19:30
The final addition to our lineup, Groak are a demented trio from Leeds who play with extreme tempos, battering you with slow crushing doom before wildly exploding into frantic blasting madness. Their unpredictability on stage will leave your mind shattered.
khost - 18:15 - 18:45
A last minute addition to the line-up, UK Industial Drone Metal duo Khost are a unique and punishing act, delivering ethereal and glacial slow crushing riffs with a huge emphasis on ambient and ritualistic atmospheres. The duo have recently collaborated with none other than Godflesh on their 2016 release 'Needles Into the Ground' and are signed to Cold Springrecords.
Let It Die - 17:30 - 18:00
Let It Die are a force to be reckoned with. The Kettering based trio are rooted in the ferocity of grindcore and hardcore, but are not afraid to mix it up with colossal sludge riffs and blasts of piercing noise. Their live show will surely be an unpredictable and unrelenting display of finely tuned chaos.
Tides Of Sulfur - 16:40 - 17:10
Signed to Black Bow Records, the Cardiff formed trio take in a diverse array of influences, weaving their way through dissonant and angular, ultra pissed off technical sludge metal. Their debut full length 'Extinction Curse' is a punishing listen so expect to be overwhelmed and blown away when you see them live!
Petrichor - 15:50 - 16:20
A last minute entry to the line-up, the Leeds based trio perform Blackened Funeral Doom Metal, inspired by the likes of My Dying Bride and Paradise Lost but with an emphasis on colder and more sinister atmospheres. The trio self released their debut EP 'Rain' in 2016. Their striking visual live show will make them one of the most memorable acts of the day!
Ba'al - 15:00 -15:30
The newly formed Ba'al have hit the ground running and are just about to release their first EP. The Sheffield based Post-Metal quintet expel a glorious mix of sublime atmospherics and brutal doom. Ba'al recently won Metal 2 the Masses, earning them a slot at Bloodstock Festival 2017, so get down early to see this band before they explode!
