Review of Lyric Suite
As regards the pieces not by Webern and Berg, I would like to hear hem again before commenting on them except to note that I would like to hear them again.
The Webern and Berg were approached with such meaning, understanding and insight to lead me to comment that the performances of them led me to understand and appreciate them much more than I have from past performances.

Review of Lyric Suite
Another excellent Psappha concert, preceded by a very informative film about some of the music we were about to hear and interviews with the composers of the three new pieces being premiered. All extremely well done and a great informal atmosphere.

Review of Winter Reels
A great programme of music and terrific musicianship. The venue was completely full - standing room only. It was fascinating to be able to have all the composers at the concert too, introducing and describing their pieces. It adds greatly to the enjoyment. Another terrific Psappha concert.

Review of Caught in the Treetops
Another enjoyable and interesting concert from Psappha - very interesting to hear the music of a number of developing new composers and to have the chance to hear them talking about their inspiration for what they have written. The piece from the more established Charlotte Bray was terrific!
