A man is discovered in the street – a knife through his chest. Who is he? Why is he there? Simon Holt’s enigmatic ...era madrugada tells the story of a mysterious death described in a Lorca poem.

We continue our relationship with Sarah Kirkland Snider with a performance of her poignant Thread and Fray and we're really excited to be working with Lucy Armstrong on a brand new work for the group, The Executioner's Pond. This will be our first commission honouring Psappha's former Patron Sir Peter Maxwell Davies.

Van Gogh's exuberant letters are the inspiration for Julian Anderson's Van Gogh Blue. Philip Glass's stimulus was a film that tells the life story of the Japanese novelist Mashima, intercutting scenes of his childhood, his mature years and the last days of his life.
