The Fall walking tour

Two Robs - both massive Fall fans - vowed to meet up in Prestwich when lockdown was finally lifted to toast The Fall in Mark E Smith's favourite pubs. One of the Robs devised a pub crawl...I mean a tour for his best mate and, hey Luciani, a Fall tour was born. Join both Robs for a couple of long drafts and an afternoon uncovering the role Prestwich played in the band's life.

The tour will taking in the sights and sounds of Mark E Smith's town and explain how he often wrote about the people and places right on his doorstep. We'll also be stopping off for some refreshments in a few of Mark's most important venues: pubs.

Meeting point: Prestwich tram stop. End point: Stanley Street, Cheetham Hill, but everyone's encouraged to return to Prestwich with the tour guide after the tour is finished. Please note tour participants will need to buy a tram ticket from Heaton Park to Queen's Road to complete the tour.
