STREET HEAT 2 Bank Holiday Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th of April, 2023 

STREET HEAT!!!! Manchesters FREE Daytime, Street Culture & Hip Hop Festival, returns to Ancoats, Old Naval Yard, Naval Street, M4 6BA, to celebrate Hip Hops 50th year anniversary!!

Join Manchester's Hip Hop heads for a series of special spectator performance battles, competitions, and performances. Brought to you by leading UK Rap, Graffiti, Breaking, and live performance brands.

Saturday 12-6 pm- Street Heat presents 'The Battle' - the true essence of Hip Hop,  brought to you by UK elements pioneers:

Workinonit - Beat makers cypher 

Bomb Masters - Speed battle graffiti painting knock-out competition

Fresh Skillz - 3 vs 3 European Breaking battle

MHHA youth fashion and artwork showcase 

DJ's Bayat, AncoatsYachtClub, Avidavit & special guest TBA

Sunday 12-6pm- OSR  (Old Skool Rules) presents..

DJ's Kingy, CRF, DJ Pressure, Paul Weston, Mark 1, and Chad Jackson, hosted by Madface with performances from Lady Tame, Red Venom, Prince Kool and introducing Manchester Hip Hop pioneer Q&A section. Live graffiti mural painting, Manchester Hip Hop Archive pop-up exhibition, family entertainment and more....

6pm - late (£17.50 + BF)

Kicking-off the evening event will be Manchester's pioneer of electro-funk and first UK DJ to mix live on television, DJ Greg Wilson(playing a classic electro-funk set from the Legends era).

Johnny Jay (Rock the House /  Bistro Manchester & King of the Manchester under 18's club events). 

Owen D & Leaky Fresh (Legendary Hip Hop club DJ & radio broadcast duo)
