After the success of the 2017 Membranes & Friends event at O2 Ritz Manchester, it was clear early on that the band were going to have to make this an annual occasion. This could be the underground music bill of the year and one of the best festival line ups on the circuit.

With Membranes plus their 20 piece choir debuting songs from the upcoming Sept new double album. The band will have their new light show and lots more surprises. Fronted by underground legend John Robb (louder than war website and magazine, TV pundit and author whose new book 'The Art Of Darkness - the true story of post-punk and goth' is out this year). Membranes last album Dark Matter/Dark Energy was a critical favourite across Europe, big on BBC 6music and was the bands first top 75 album and cemented their position as the UK's premier underground band.
The acclaimed The Lovely Eggs who are touring their breakthrough new album 'This Is Eggland' which sees them as one of the most unique, innovative and genuine bands on the British Underground music scene. Also on the bill are John Peel faves, The Cravats and acclaimed new band Sink Ya teeth with several more to be announced.
Evil Blizzard have made a big impact in the last couple of years with their wild live shows that sees four rubber masked bass players and a gonzoid drummer delivering a tripped out mash of Hawkwind and PiL that has seen them become firm festival favourites and a huge cult band. Their new single is their best yet and the band will perfectly suit the classic backdrop of the Ritz.
The Cravats are the reformed John Peel faves whose recent album is their best yet.
Sink Ya Teeth are a fast-rising Norwich duo whose sharp and angular mash of electronic and wonk guitar is spellbinding.

gig runs from mid afternoon to 10pm - you can get the train home if you have to!
