About

Join us for a powerful and engaging panel featuring BBC’s Waterloo Road producer Adam Leatherland, director Lloyd Eyre-Morgan, and cast members Adam Ali and Sonya Nisa, who play Kai Sharif and Aleena Qureshi in the school drama.

Hosted by Thomas Duke (@SteppingThroughFilm), the panel will explore the representation of LGBTQ+ storylines on television. Together, the guests will reflect on Waterloo Road’s enduring legacy, from its original run to its reboot, and discuss how storytelling on screen can drive inclusion in schools, communities, and beyond.
