Un-Convention Manchester 2019 on Thursday 7th - Friday 8th March 2019
This March we are bringing together hundreds of the most proactive Artists, Labels, Venues and Promoters from across the UK and Europe to develop new ideas and opportunities for the independent music sector.
Over two days, together we will be look at ideas for building sustainable careers in music, effective release and live strategies, the challenges for artists in the modern era, ideas to better collaborate with European scenes post Brexit, Mental Health in the industry, music as a tool for social change, and a host of other key issues in the current independent sector.
It will also be an opportunity to build networks with other artists, labels and promoters from across the country, and indeed further afield.
Those involved already include Cooking Vinyl, Hospital Records, Leaf Label, The Orchard, Big Scary Monsters, Ditto, Skiddle, Featured Artist Coalition, Love Music Hate Racism, The Music Venues Trust, The Musicians’ Union, The Association of Independent Promoters and a host of Artists and Managers to be announced...
