Un-Convention Manchester 2023 on Friday 20th - Saturday 21st October 2023
The 15th Anniversary Un-Convention music conference will take place in Manchester this October. The event will span two days (from 9.15am until 5pm each day), with panels being held on Friday 20th October at Band on the Wall, Swan St, and on Saturday 21st October at the Methodist Central Hall on Oldham St.
We will once again be bringing together hundreds of artists, managers, labels, promoters, and festivals from over 50 towns and cities across the UK to explore the current state of the sector, build networks, and to develop ideas and actions for a more sustainable, diverse, and equitable music industry.
This will be our 111th Un-Convention, and we are excited to be working with a host of partners both from the UK and Europe to deliver this anniversary event. Over two days, we will explore ideas for building sustainable careers in music, effective release and live strategies, the challenges for artists and organisations in the modern era, developing regional scenes, music and well-being, and a host of other key issues in the current industry.
For the last fifteen years Un-Convention has provided a platform for the makers and champions of independent music to build networks, share knowledge, and develop new ways of working. If you're involved in the sector, then we do hope you can join us in Manchester this October.
The conference will take place at Band on the Walll, and the Methodist Central Hall in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
