queue to get in was a joke.
Poorly planned with terrible queue management. Was queuing for 2 hours due to only one person checking ID. Despite arriving early, missed the first 2 acts as they couldn't get people in. Absolute waste of time and money

So, the event in itself was good, music was impressive, venue wasnít bad, but Jesus there was no point in drinking before we got there as we sobered up before we got in an we were stood in the cold desperate for the toilet, the Facebook page said anyone that gets there for after 12 will be spending 30 - 45 minutes queuing, we arrived at the queue at 11:40 and didnít step foot inside the venue until 1:25, the queues were absolutely horrendous very poorly organised, missed half an hour of Michael Bibiís set the main person we wanted to see. Wonít be going back to the Manchester Academy for an event anytime soon.
The queues truly need some work, could be organised more effeciently. Sound could be louder as well.
seek overall. but that queue was hefty with no coordination

We arrived at 11:30 as thatís what time ticket states doors open. We didnít get into the venue till 1:45. The security/door system was shocking. Unfortunately we missed most of the DJ we originally wanted to see. Really bad organisation! Wouldnít attend any event at this venue again.
Took the piss to get in but was alright mush vodka is deffo watered down tho
The que to get in was an absolute piss take I was waiting 2 hours
Waiting time to get into the venue was a joke, waiting from 11 till 11:45 and didnít move at all to be told weíd be waiting another 30-45 minutes from 12pm. Sacked it off. Reading through twitter to see people still waiting at gone 1am. Ridiculous.
After waiting an hour and a half after the doors was supposed to Ďopení without the queue even moving 1cm we gave up waiting and went home. Cold weather, badly organised and over sold.
Continued to see complaints of people still queuing up at 3am
Refund wouldnít go a miss
The music was great but the venue was ridiculous. We got there before 12 and only got in at 2 - there was no security on the queues so it was 20 people wide at one point. There were not enough female bouncers at the entrance even though girls could only be checked be females, making the queue even longer. The entrance was far too small for thousands of people - Iíve been to events there before where they used the side entrance so I donít know why they didnít do that this time.

Amazing apart from the 2 hour queuing
Was el rowdy

Queuing for an hour and a half in the freezing cold, only to have our group be inconsistently searched as if we were at the airport, as others just walked in after a quick check, was a very low point. Security and management was shocking, the worst I'd ever seen, people were literally walking away from the queue. If I hadn't paid so much for the ticket we would have left, too. Disgraceful
Was mint but abit crowded but good atmosphere anyway
The management team was shocking, took over 2 hours to even get in to the venue and the que was moving at a slow pace this was due to the lack of staff at the venue when getting in, I think this should be reconsidered for other events as it is shocking late at night. Also as last entry was at 1.00pm and we didnít get in the event till around 2.00pm due to this. Poor staff! No body was impressed.
I'm trying to find out about a refund it was an absolute joke was in the cue but had to leave there was hundreds of us waiting for over an hour and I'm guessing it would of been even longer to even get down the que
Queue management was a disgrace arrived at 12:00pm and got in at 2. Missed the two people we specifically went to see. Big improvement needed on sorting the queue very disappointed
Night was good however all music sounded the same
Bought tickets couldt get in f**king dog s**t
Cue was too long
We didnít make it in. We queued for 3 hours and didnít get in. It was a pisstake because we got there at 11. Wasnít proper security and steward managing the que. there were people collapsing and fight in there. So we paid for our tickets which were wasted.
My group arrived at 12 and didnít get in until around 2- missing the main act we wanted to see. There wasnít enough bouncers at the queue or the smoking area so I watched about 20 people sneak in through the fence. There was only 2 people checking ID and 1 female bouncer on the door, who insisted girls could only be checked by her. This event couldíve been so good if it wasnít for poor planning and security. I wouldíve gone home if I hadnít payed so much for the ticket.
The event itself was good however it took us 2 hours to get into the event with no explanation and because of this we were left outside for 2 hours when we should have been inside
Only thing to add would be the queue management. Barriers should have been put up as too many people were jumping the queue.
Difficult to answer these questions when I was stood queueing for 2 hours due to the event being oversold and not enough staff on the doors, the music wouldíve been great if I actually managed to get in and Iím sure the atmosphere wouldíve been good too but instead I was surrounded by pissed off people who also had to wait ridiculous times and spend half their night in the freezing cold missing the event. Very very unhappy with the organisation of this event, doors shouldíve been opened well before 11.30pm in order to get everyone in, they claimed last entry was 1am yet there was still about 1000 people queueing outside at 1.30am. Decided to leave the queue and head into Manchester instead for a better night and half the price. Thanks for a waste of time.
Spent 2 hours queuing to get into this event after being warned it would be a 30/40 minute queue after 12pm - we got there at 11.45
After leaving the queue at 1.50 and ordering a taxi into Manchester we soon realised we werenít even half way through the queue.
If this event was reasonably staffed and there were enough people doing searches then this might have been an okay event. Unfortunately it wasnít.
People were sneaking in through the smoking area and a lot got in that way, unfortunately by the time we got to the point where this would of been possible for us to sneak through one of the few bouncers managed to click on to what was happening and made it impossible to sneak through.
We left the queue with at least 800-1000 people behind us and after being told that doors close at 1, I canít imagine that they got the people at the back of the queue in until at least 3.30am.
Absolute sham, will not be returning, after ticket, taxis and pres Iím a £100 down with nothing to show for it.
However if we were to get in, the event probably would of been quite decent.
Worst venue ever, qued for over 2 and a half hours In the freezing cold shivering and it got too around 2 am and I had to leave the que and get a taxi home, absolutely shocking waste of £32 very un happy and disappointed
even tho event itself was amazing the organisation was very bad. we stood 2 h in the queue just to get in. only 4 people was checking in. there was information to arrive earlier. lost over 2 h of my party. never stood in bigger queue then last night...very disappointed
The worst event I have ever been too! The que was that big we didnít even get in! By time we got to do the door it was 4:30. We had been queuing since 11:30!
absolutely buzzing night top form!!
queued for 2 hours
took over 1.5 hours to get inside stood outside in the freezing cold, ruined the night
I qued up for 2 hours then decided to go home coz it was that cold worst venue waste of money
Overall it was amazing with good music and atmosphere however the queue was ridiculous could of been organised a lot better as I was being pushed in a cramped crowd for over 2 hours and ended up missing one of my favourite acts!
Queue outside to get in was ridiculous, no form of order meant people push in right at the front, other than that great event with good music. Maybe have a seating area at the venue
Que was a joke
Good event but poorly managed, it took 2.5hrs to get in after joining the queue at 11:30pm.
The staff/venue didnt seem to be prepared for the crowd coming in.
Awful spent 3 hours in a queue to miss acts I paid to watch
The que to get inside was an absolute joke , took 2 hours stood outside freezing cold , awful service and security on. NEVER AGAIN
Took me 2 and a half hours to get into the venue
Chloe Jade Tabassum-O 9;Neill
Friendly staff, good prices , excellent events
Georgia Lavinia Mayer
The acts were amazing as always! However, the venue was NOT good. Organisation was poor. Doors opened at 11pm apparently, however we turned up at 11:20 and they were not letting anybody in yet. They recommended if you turned up at 12 or after that it would be 30-45 minute wait. So Iím glad we turned up super early despite waiting 2 hours. We queued for 2 hours before FINALLY being let in at 1:15am. There was no crowd control in the queue, everybody was pushing and it was like packed sardines which was really bad for people who may have been claustrophobic. Amazing event in the end, however the queue needed to be organised and not allowing people to wait in the freezing cold for 2 hours or longer.
It took 2 and a half hours to get in to the venue
Missed Anotr due to the large queue, too long. Apart from that was belter
- 3 hour queue to get in
- venue is awful
Had to que for 2 hours and then made some of the girls re que up again because they refused to search us however loved the music
Had to wait 2 and a half hours In a ridiculously unorganised queue while members of the showsec staff were letting people cut in front. The gig was good and the music was but the lights could have been better as they only came from the stage
The que to get into the venue was horrendous but apart from that it was good
great overall but spent most of my time in queue!
It took nearly two hours to get into the venue the door opened at half 11 we arrived shortly after we didnít get into the venue until well after half 1.
Music was great, venue was decent once we got in inside, literally a free for all in the queue no security whatsoever until you got right near the front door for a security check.
Kinda ruined the night spending best part of 2 hours waiting outside to get in- based on that I wouldnít recommend the venue to anyone I liked .
wasn't organised very well, had to wait 2 hours from o'clock to get in and by that time i was very sober making it therefore hard to enjoy fully.
Wasnít organised at all
Music was class but getting in there was a joke, queuing for almost 2hrs, could of been organised so much better than it was
The actual venue is good inside , however it was organised terribly worst organised event I have ever been to without a doubt . Arrived at 11:15( first entry was not until 11:30) and I didnít get into the actual venue until 2:00AM(Last entry was 1:00AM)
Queue was too long but overall mint night
Everything was amazing however it was just the queueing that let the night down, we queued for 1 hour and 30 minutes and we got there for Just when the doors opened however apart from that everything was great
It was a amazing night apart from missing the first hour because we were still waiting in line to get in due to people pushing in and starting other lines so we were all in a crowd not a line.
Could of been more packed and atmosphere could of been better but had a good night x

THE QUE IS A JOKE
Absolutely awful organisation. Arrived at 11.30pm and queued for 2 hours and missed Michael Bibi who we came to see. No one was available to tell us what was going on. Overall ruined the night and awful value for money considering we paid nearly £35 to stand in the freezing cold for 2 hours! Not happy
Had to que up for over 2 hours in packed, cramped conditions. Event was good but debated going home as the line was that bad.
Was on another level
Just abit cold in there
Mint night, good vibes
