Bravo 22: Art of Recovery on Thursday 22nd June - Thursday 6th July 2017
A group of wounded, injured and sick Service personnel from Greater Manchester has joined a Royal British Legion project using art to aid their recovery, and the work they produce will go on display to the public at an exhibition at the Lowry Hotel from June 22 – July 11.
The 12 participants, none of whom have done art since school, are making life-size sculptures, and then sharing these very personal pieces at the Lowry Hotel. It will be life-changing for some of them.
Bravo 22 Company is the Royal British Legion's recovery through the arts programme for the Armed Forces community, with over 200 people having taken part in projects around the country to date.
The veterans’ work will go on public display following a preview evening on Thursday June 22 until July 11 – entry is free. This is just one of the ways the Legion uses YOUR donations to help support our Armed Forces community in Greater Manchester.
- Bravo 22 Company Manchester is delivered by The Royal British Legion in partnership with The Drive Project and is supported by Bridge 5 Mill and the Lowry Hotel
