Burns wrote in Scots dialect at a time when the sentiment was ‘think in English, feel in Scots.’ We’re not suggesting anything here but…this Blether will be Scottish to the core bby 💘💘💘
A Burns supper is full of riotous rituals around haggis, whisky, music and lots of poetry, hooking everyone to an amber drip and feeding vernacular through their veins. It’s about the ritualistic act of being together, sharing stories and taking the piss.
