Ataraxia presents: Nick Beringer on Friday 22nd June 2018
This June 22nd, we will be welcoming Nick Beringer to the UK for his Manchester debut. The Berlin-based selector has cultivated a sound that encapsulates the true entity of Ataraxia; deep, swinging sounds of raw and rhythmic warmth; marching rides full of bounce and sonic subtleties; hits and hats of perfect precision, refined and combined with textures full of atmosphere.
Having released under a slew of labels such as SlapFunk Records, Taverna Tracks, Organic, Hyperspace Records and of course, his own mighty fine imprint which exudes class and quality: Rubisco.
Nicks production material and artistry behind the decks have combined to give him a highly respected status in the game alongside the likes of Ed Herbst, Diego Krause and Julian Alexander. We cannot wait to hear what he has in store for the ears and minds of a Manchester dance floor, it’s certainly a sound, for us, that the city has been missing.
Joining Nick on the night will be Twodeep, who, incredibly, will be flying all the way over from Argentina this June, allowing us the great and fortunate pleasure of presenting to you the vibe and sound of Rubisco.
With Twodeep releasing his killer ‘Belen’s Haze’ on the ‘Molecules I’ release alongside Julian Alexander, and gaining support from the likes of Monika Ross, Harrison BDP and Black Loops, the Argentinian’s sound has been picked up by some seriously credible players, not least, Nick himself.
Warming things up will be the Manchester-based Kímeoko, as well as El Fairo who will surely get those eardrums tingling.
Music Genres: Acid House, Deep/Soulful House, Prog House, Tech House, Tribal House
