15:30 - 16:30: Robyn Landau, Art, Neuroscience & Wellbeing Expert
We train the muscles in our body, but what about our mind? This guided session will educate about the frequencies of our brainwaves and the importance of bringing them into balance for creativity. Like the muscles in our body, brainwaves need to be strengthened to allow us to reach our fullest creative potential. The session educates on the role of each brainwave, frequencies, and impact everyday experience. We explore how to re-wire and re- shape brain patterning with tools, takeaways, and insight. Guided meditations will stimulate these different brainwaves. For example, Alpha, the brainwave linked to creativity and idea generation, can be accessed via deep relaxation, and sensory visualisations. Together, we’ll go through through visual, auditory and kinaesthetic realms. Take home tips for strengthening brainwaves are provided for everyday applications. Robyn is consultant, artist and researcher exploring creativity through a cross-modal approach. The focus of her work in the growing science of Neuroaesthetics unpacks the influence of creativity, flow and 'peak experience' on wellbeing.
