Please note, this event has been cancelled.
Join us for this insightful look into the work done by the War Dogs of WW1. Dogs play a key role in current operations and security services today, but during the First World War their important contribution in conflict really came to the fore.
Learn about the different roles that the dogs played and how they were trained and introduced to the Front Lines.
Our guest presenter is Emma White, author of 'A History of Britain in 100 Dogs' and expert in the role of dogs during the war.The talk will be an hour and a half, then there will be the opportunity to ask questions.
The price of the ticket will be donated to the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal, to support veterans, service men and women and their families.
