Choke presents: Markus Sommer (Pager/Imprints Records) on Saturday 11th November 2017
MARKUS SOMMER Co-owner of the well established, Pager Records, Offenbach based DJ/Producer Markus Sommer is a name consistently echoed throughout the underground scene. Part of a tight knit, likeminded group of forward thinking producers in the city where he’s situated, Markus’s undeviating production work and solid graft has earned him some huge releases on some highly commendable labels such as Imprints Records, La Peña and of course his own project Pager Records, which he runs with good friend and production partner Phil Evans. He has been gaining a lot of attention recently, regularly shaking dancefloors all across Europe with his signature sound, and we cannot wait to see what he brings to share with us.
ATREE Since joining the Choke family this year, we have formed a tight bond with the highly knowledgable Atree. A DJ and producer based in Stuttgart, Atree has an ever growing catalogue of undeniably impressive music and a sharp, distinct sound that immediately grabbed our attention. As well as doing damage behind the controls, his futuristic production laced with old skool flavours will be showcased on our first release (later this year). Definitely one to keep an eye out for.
JORDAN PLANGE And finally we welcome Jordan Plange to join us. Dog Eat Dog co-founder Jordan, caught our attention with a seriously impressive podcast for Arthouse. Having listened to his mix we knew we’d found a real selector, someone who takes time over digging for the perfect tracks to add to his arsenal, and couldn’t not invite him along.
Music Genres: Breaks, Electro, Electronic, House, Techno
