Jah Wobble & The Invaders Of The Heart tickets

Jah Wobble - bass guitarist, singer, poet and composer, is a legendary figure in British music, from his days in Public Image Limited – the post punk band he co-founded with John Lydon – in the process creating an original rock/reggae hybrid sound of his own, to his Invaders Of The Heart project fusing his love of dub and funk with world music genres.

Initially releasing the Mercury nominated Rising Above Bedlam and the ground breaking Take Me To God album, that featured luminaries such as Baaba Maal, Chaka Demus and Pliers, Jaki Liebezeit from Can et al, Invaders Of The Heart continue to perform and record, with a new album planned and a Spring tour in 2016. Other collaborative projects have included recording work with Bill Laswell, Pharoah Sanders and Brian Eno.

More recent activities have included the publishing of his acclaimed autobiography ‘Memoirs of a Geezer’ (2009), a reunion with his old Pil sparring partner Keith Levine to perform ‘Metal Box In Dub’ (2012), and the 2015 Cherry Red Records release: ‘Redux’ a sumptuous 6 CD Box Set that spans nearly four decades of Wobble’s music. It includes new tracks ‘Merry Go Round’ and ’Let’s Go Psycho’.
