Review of Revival Festival
Would you recommended: Yes
I had a great time but the music should have been a bit louder.
Mr John Harriss
too drum and bass

Had a great time despite covid making attendance less then expected
In these trying times it was very well organised and patrolled to maintain social distancing and table service was excellent, very quick and polite .Pricing was about average for this type of event a couple of other food choices would of been good but understandable under the circumstances. All in all a great night and will definitely go to more events like this .
Brilliant event, well managed and the distancing was well enforced too. Will attend again!
I attended this event last year and was great, but so disappointing this time, the music just was not 80,90’s dance....left early as not enjoyable.

Was a fantastic day
Organised Extremely well
I was really disappointed with the music.
Very disappointed this year.
The line up was not great, the DJs started off well but failed to keep the crowd engaged. The idea of revival is old skoool commercial classics, variety, rather then deep underground drum and bass. The failure to keep the crowd engaged caused people to leave early which also resulted in lack of atmosphere. Security was not good, one security member called Tia I believe, upset lots of guests including my daughter by conducting random drug searches in a bullying Manor. I understand Promoters have to do these things but there is a tactful way of doing it Tia lacked any tact and used a bullying approach which led to my Innocent daughter being left in tears and very upset. At a time when people just want to have a relaxing day out, sadly this left a very sour taste with us and other guests. I hope my feedback is constructive and things like this don’t happen again.
Apart from the above the event was organised well has potential to be really good.
Braved the cold to make our second trip to Revival & was as good as last years. Well thought out with the social distancing & the bar/food table service was quick with the QR codes on the tables. We look forward to next years event
It’s never going to be the same whist social distancing is in force but it was a great day out. The layout was effective, some real old school anthems, happy and upbeat atmosphere, we had a great time and still got talking to other pods around us.
I think it is important to give feedback so future events can be improved. For the Revival In The Park (26th Sept), I would say that the sound system needed to be better. The microphones used by the artists were not very powerful and we couldn't hear them very well. The Revival event a few weeks ago in Mote Park was awesome sound wise and this one just needed a few tweeks which was a shame. However, that said, the organisation of this event was first class in challenging times .. Security at the event was awesome and very professional and troublesome people were quickly and swiftly ejected in my view so thank-you for ensuring that was the case. The tent was a great idea as nothing is worse than getting soaking wet like the outdoor event I also went to where Judge Jules played. I would say that sadly, there was a good deal of Cannabis smuggled into the event and this was being smoked by event goers which was a shame but I think were it was detected by security, they immediately stamped all over it and ejected those who seek to spoil other peoples enjoyment. I know you can't odds this all the time and it is a shame but that's just an aside from me. Well done on your overall organisation and I will certainly be coming to more Revival events if they are organised as well. These are challenging times for the music industry and working within it myself, hats off to you for having the fortitude to put these events on at Mote Park this year. Many other events have not happened or happened badly in respect of Covid-19 restrictions so you have really done well this year. Thank-you.

The music wasn’t as it was first advertised.
Some of the security were brilliant with regards to trying to keep on top of social distancing but it doesn’t help when the main MC and other acts are hugging, kissing, shaking hands & having photos with people and standing in the small gaps between pens so they weren’t really doing as the event promised and asked of us!!
It was a complete waste of money and def won’t come again or recommend to anyone
Last year was brilliant. This year was an utter let-down. Nothing to do with covid - awful music, nothing like last year
Very well organised social distance event, we had a great time
Absolutely the best event and atmosphere! Especially in the current climate you managed to put on this great event and we had the best time! Drinks service was excellent and the staff and security were professional as well as easy going under the circumstances! I will definitely be coming again next year! Loved it!!!
This was a really well organised event and we were well distanced from anyone else. We attended last year and the music was off the scale amazing. This year, it did have great music but was far too much drum & bass at some points which made us consider leaving early until SL2 came on and brought the music back to the classic tunes we loved. That would be my own criticism but had a fantastic evening at a very well organised event.

too heavy. not enough 80s or 'cheese". very expensive but well organised
Well managed. Friendly staff and a great night. Thank you.
Antonia Le Fevre
Had a brilliant time at this event.
But disappointed nothing was done for VIP ticket holders, not even a free drink after not having a VIP area as originally paid for but otherwise was a good day
Well organised great music great like minded people
It was great and very organised and well social distanced, great music
even though we had covid, the level of garage music compared to the year before was alot less, it was more jungle based which was too much, we left early because of that, last year we didn't want it to finish
