The Mauskovic Dance Band
The Green Room:
To round off six years of the XOYO residency series, we’ve collaborated with the Dutch collective, Dekmantel Soundsystem, who are responsible for putting the Netherlands’ vibrant dance music scene on the map through their hugely successful festival, cutting edge label and more.
Through October to December, the duo have invited a wide selection of highly respected and rising DJs, as well as live electronic acts to XOYO for 12 weeks. This will be the first time bringing their winning formula to the UK, and in a club setting.
Naples formed, Berlin-based duo, Nu Guinea join DSS this week. Fusing worldly grooves with an array of hardware, the duo give off a diverse and refreshing dynamic to their releases and sets. They'll will be bringing their infamous live keys and DJ set to our basement. Completing the room 1 billing will be The Mauskovic Dance Band, the brainchild of Amsterdam producer, Nicola Mauskovic. Combining elements of Cumbia, Afro-Caribean rhythms & Psychedelia, don't miss the unique hypnotic groove which they have bringing to festival stages around the world.
Bruxas will be delivering their cinematic Balearic disco sound to the Green Room with a live set. Known for their amazing musical selection, Sassy J and Calypso Steve also joins this room 2 bill; these guys really know how to work a party so do not miss.
