Flava D + Wiley + Amy Becker + Tash LC + Mina + Sian Anderson on Friday 17th August 2018

From July through September, Flava D plays each Friday for her ‘13 weeks. 13 Flavas.’ XOYO residency with a selection of very special guests each week.

Coming to XOYO’s basement is perhaps the most prolific British producer, rapper and recording artist to emerge in the last twenty years - Wiley. He has made pioneering music in the fields of jungle, drum & bass and UK garage, but is best known as the originator and Godfather of Grime. Wiley's earliest recordings date back to 1997 and he continues going hard to this day. He’s also been a long-standing advocate of Flava D since day. So this one should be really special.

Alongside comes Amy Becker, with a selection that spans from rap to reggaeton, grime to garage and club to UK drill, she has stormed her way to the top of the circuit. Stunning listeners on BBC 1Xtra to Boiler Room to Radar Radio.

Mina is an artist whose reputation has steadily amplified over the years merging afrobeat, dancehall and UK funky. Performing alongside her is Tash LC, who finds herself at home on the airwaves with residencies on Worldwide FM and Radar.

Grime ambassador Sian Anderson starts the night off.
