To Kill a Mockingbird is Aaron Sorkin’s stage adaptation of Harper Lee’s novel, returning to the West End for a strictly limited season this summer. Set in 1934 Alabama, it centres on successful lawyer Atticus Finch as he sets out to uncover the truth in a town determined to hide it.
The story focuses on Atticus’s effort to guide his children with kindness and empathy while testing those values for himself. Harper Lee’s novel was inspired by her own childhood and has sold more than 45 million copies worldwide.
The book won the Pulitzer Prize for Literature and was long at the top of the banned book lists. The production has been a Broadway and West End success and is currently thrilling audiences across the UK and Ireland on a sell-out national tour.

Richard Coyle returns as Atticus Finch, reprising the role he played in the 2022 West End production. His previous screen and stage credits include The Player Kings, Macbeth and Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore.
