Iconic creatives Andy Bird & Ian Livingstone CBE as NOISE Festival Curators, selected the best portfolios from over 5,000 submissions to NOISE Festival 2014. Hear from Dr. Jo Twist, CEO UKIE and Richard Baynham, Creative Director from Publicis give expert advice as to what the best in the business are looking for in the portfolios of future Advertising, Graphics and Games design stars.

The seminar is hosted by Blueprint Magazine's Contributing Editor, Herbert Wright. The session gives you exclusive insights to discover why these industry leaders chose their Top 5 Designers from the NOISE Festival 2014.

This FREE seminar will be followed by a Q&A session giving you a chance to interact with these industry leaders.


Richard Baynham
Prior to joining Publicis he was a Creative Director at AMVBBDO for 3 years, a Creative Director at JWT for 7 years and a copywriter at Saatchi & Saatchi for almost ten years - Saatchi were twice agency of the year at Cannes during this time.

Along the way he has won 2 D&AD pencils and a further 3 nominations, Cannes Gold and Silvers, One Show Gold and Silver together with numerous other awards for clients as diverse as HSBC, The NSPCC, Vodafone, The Army and Smirnoff.

Dr. Jo Twist
CEO of Ukie, the only trade body for the UK's wider games and interactive entertainment industry. Before this Dr. Jo was Channel 4’s Commissioning Editor for Education, where she commissioned Digital Emmy-winning Battlefront II, free to play browser and iOS games, (Sweatshop, Nomnation and International Racing Squirrels) and social media projects. Dr. Jo is also a London Tech Ambassador and is on various boards and advisory groups, including the Bafta Games Committee.

The NOISE Festival 2014
The NOISE Festival received 5,000 submissions, across 14 categories from emerging creatives worldwide. NOISE Festival 2014 featured artists have been handpicked by a panel of leading industry professionals, the NOISE Curators include iconic creative’s such as Brian Eno, Gerald Scarfe CBE, Giles Deacon, Sir Nicholas Grimshaw, Ian Livingstone CBE (Life President, Eidos Games) Elaine Constantine, Andy Bird (Executive Creative Director, Publicis), Tricia Jones (Co-Founder i-D Magazine), Doc Brown, Thris Tian of Boiler Room TV and Jude Biddulph (SUCK UK) .

This event is part of the wider NOISE Festival 2014 programme, a national showcase of new British creative talent across Music, 2D and 3D design, Architecture, Art, Word, Enterprise, Film, New Media and Photography; staged across the UK from September to November, in London, Manchesterand Leeds at More London / Better Bankside, House of Commons, V&A, Granada Studios Buy Art Fair, theTetley gallery and other venues.
