London Contemporary Voices' fourth annual summer concert at Union Chapel will celebrate women in music, with a programme comprised of work by female artists and composers across a variety of genres.
London's leading alternative choir will be joined onstage by guests including Brit Award-winning singer and political activist Charlotte Church, experimental folk artist Jesca Hoop, Syrian Qanun player Maya Youssef, Indian singer Deepa Nair Rasiya (known for her work with George Harrison and Ravi Shankar) and L.A.-based composer KÁRYYN, an Armenian electronic artist hotly-tipped by Björk.
The diverse and exciting programme will also see LCV cover songs by a number of female classical, folk and leftfield song-writers, including Joni Mitchell, Laura Marling, Imogen Heap, Laura Mvula, Nao, Susanne Sundfor and London Grammar.
The Grade 1 listed Union Chapel is one of the most beautiful and atmospheric venues in London! LCV's Union Chapel concerts usually sell out so buy tickets in advance.
