Blow Up feat. The Bongolian on Saturday 10th March 2018

We are pleased to announce the first of three Blow Up monthly club events with live guests at The Troubadour Earls Court London. The first of these events starts with The Bongolian live.

Saturday 10th March: live guest The Bongolian
DJ Paul Tunkin

The Bongolian - An exclusive London show from The Bongolian for that follows recent release 'I'm A Bigger Badder Bro Than Any Game Of Thrones' which received strong support at BBC Radio 6 Music from Iggy Pop Lauren Laverne and Nemone. The track was originally being recorded as part of the Moog Maximus sessions but was released a year after the album. Moog Maximus itself was re-released on limited heavy weight clear vinyl around the same time, whilst Googa Mama was recently used to soundtrack The Ashes coverage for BT Sport.

Expect to hear classic tracks from both Blow Up's past and present: from Brit Pop era favourites (the scene which the club kick-started way back in 1993 in Camden Town) to the current new Pop & indie stylists putting the art back into pop colliding with 60's Soul, Beat, Garage, Funk, Ska, Swinging Soundtracks, Hammond Heavy Jazz, Easy Listening & Ye-Ye! Brit Pop, Glam & Post Punk / New Wave will all be present and correct.

Music Genres:

Alternative, Electronic, Funk, Indie, Soul
