Review of O\'Connell & Love
Always a good night when these guys play. Seen them a few times now and feel blessed to consider them as friends. This is gig was small enough to be intimate but was well attended by friends or friends of friends. A great crowd and the boys certainly responded with a great set. A nice mixture of old favourites and new material. Anounce some future shows.....and I'm there.

Review of Danny McMahon - The Move tour
I've been tipping Danny McMahon for stardom for some time now and last night at The Slaughtered Lamb confirmed that belief.
Danny and his band had to follow a storming set by brilliant country singer Hannah Paris but that just seemed to push him and his band to greater heights. He cleverly balanced the set from edgy
rock /country to a quieter reflective mood, in between chatting in his warm amiable style.
So at ease is Danny on stage that when he stood on one of The Slaughtered Lamb's three legged stools he fell off and kept his composure and his singing going without missing a beat. A good laugh from the crowd and from Danny.
Danny McMahon looks like a country star, sings like one and has a strong set of songs. His star is rising.
