About

Midnight Apothecary's legendary Halloween Spooktacular is back! Expect the usual sea of incredibly carved pumpkin lanterns, firepits, s'mores kits (toasted marshmallows between deluxe chocolate biscuits for the uninitiated) and sparklers for sale; batty bar staff....and the best Halloween potions in London....'Out of this Gourd', 'The Bloody Sloe' and strong favourite 'Bonfire of the Vani-Teas'. And we will of course have our signature deluxe Hot Rum and Whisky Toddies on the menu too! Tickets include an optional guided descent into Brunel's huge and very spooky underground chamber. We dare you! Friday 27 and Saturday 28 October, 5pm - 7.15pm or 7.30pm - 10pm. Booking essential. .

Voted one of London's best outdoor pop-up cocktail bars since 2012, it specialises in lovingly prepared seasonal botanical cocktails round a campfire made by Midnight Apothecary founder Lottie Muir AKA The Cocktail Gardener. The garden was built in 2012 as an oasis where guests are invited to cuddle up, watch the sun set surrounded by friends, lovers and local wildlife.

This candle-lit rooftop oasis is situated at the Brunel Museum above Brunel's historic Thames Tunnel. Ingredients are grown in the roof garden or foraged close by to infuse and garnish the drinks with the menu changing frequently based on what's in season.

The alcohol is carefully sourced using local brews and spirits where possible e.g. Jensen's gin, Hiver Honey Beer, Anspach & Hobday and Kernel Brewery. There is also plenty of fizz and wine available, including new additions from Sussex-based Rathfinny Estate, as well as non-alcoholic mocktails. Autumn sees the reintroduction of their deluxe hot rum and whisky toddies with house-made smoked sage syrup. All the proceeds from our Roof Garden tickets goes directly as a charitable donation to the Brunel Museum.

They are the best kept secret in Rotherhithe and you can expect enjoy a unique, rustic atmosphere enhanced by table service with a delicious drinks menu, firepits and toasted marshmallows. Streetfood also available.
