Rum Buffalo / King Cassady / DJ Ruth Bloomers on Saturday 9th June 2018
Delighted to bring some of our absolute favourites together for this lineup - the stomping sounds of Rum Buffalo, gypsy jazz trio King Cassady and a bouncy set from DJ Ruth Bloomers!
With deep hip hop rhythms coated in bass synths and infectious horns, Rum Buffalo have built an original sound through years of performing in the U.K. And around the world. Forged on the streets of London, the band kicked off in the city's underground scene, heavily influenced by theatrics and melody.
The band are back with their new single 'Whisky on the fire'. This track is an example of Rum Buffalo's powerhouse sound and their punk vaudeville style
King Cassady, a rag tag band of Jazz Gypsies, are an up-and-coming, bartab-running, come-rain-or-come-sunning trio of buskers bringing you their own blend of furious flamenco, jumping’ gypsy jazz and bopping’ beats.
Having cut their teeth on the streets of Camden, King Cassady capture what gets toes tapping and hips shaking. Now carving their way through London’s live circuit, this caravan of carnival is soon to be swingin’ in to the Magic Garden to kick off your Friday night!
Super excited about this one! Festival favourite Dj Ruth Bloomers returns with her legendary mix of music to help warm away those winter blues.......From Electro Swing and Groove to R'n'B and Jive, Ruth will surely be rinsing the tunes on the dancefloor to help keep your feet stomping into the early hours!
