About

Self-taught, London-based songwriter and singer Emma Tea, has gone from strength to strength since arriving on the scene in 2022 with her compelling and personal alt-pop, and even venturing recently into some dnb. Jodie Bryant, who has hosted Emma a few times at her 'New Music Monday' gigs at The Ned, praises her artistry: 'Have loved Emma's development & growth as an artist over the last year. She feels like she's found her sound with hints of different genres amongst her delicate and haunting vocal - LOVE 'get what you deserve.'

The multi-instrumentalist has honed her craft through 12 impressive singles and EPs, citing a diverse range of musical influences - from her Father, to Ellie Goulding, to Kenya Grace, to Billie Eilish- resulting in a sound that is both unique and refreshing. Stating that 'authenticity is key' and unafraid to draw from personal experience, it is no surprise that Emma Tea has garnered a dedicated fanbase through her active online presence and captivating live shows.

With support from...

The incredible, Stan Pratt!

Stan Pratt has developed a distinct sound inspired by electronic music and synthwave. He describes his music as "walking through a futuristic, Blade Runner-esque city at night-some parts shimmer, while others feel cold and isolated." His production draws inspiration from artists like Kavinsky, Imogen Heap, and Marina & the Diamonds, blending nostalgia with a modern, cinematic edge. Stan's lyrics dive deeper, often influenced by the introspective writing of Radiohead and Billie Eilish. He explores big themes like existentialism, empathy, and human ego, often weaving fictional characters and stories into his songs.

and, of course, the iconic, Bebe Barry!

Bebe Barry is a berserk ball of energy creating a genre of her own called 'Sunshine Punk,' which perfectly encapsulates her vivacious spirit, comedic flare and utter sincerity. She has found herself two unlikely champions of her music in Jeff Goldblum and The Duracell bunny, proving that when it comes to Bebe, always expect the unexpected!

Bebe will be kicking off the Ghostea Party with a big dose of Sunshine Punk, alongside her band!

A little something from Emma Tea...

Hey Bestea! So here it is... my firstEVERsolo headline!

Why does this mean so much to me?
I started music years ago, but I've taken so many breaks through ups, downs, and moments of questioning if I should keep going, and I've always found my way back. Music has always, without sounding cheesy, been everything to me :).

For the last 4-5 years, I've kept going consistently. I've made so many incredible friends, met so many talented people, found my sound (after experimenting with sooo many genres), and even learned to properly produce for myself. If I regret anything, it's the years I decided I wasn't good enough (if you're a musician reading this, as I think we ALL go through this, pleaseee keep going if you love it. You never know where you'll end up. We're all just building our stories before we get there).

This Ghostea Party is a celebration with some of my favourite people! I'm going all out to make it memorable! 👻 Even my parents are travelling down from Yorkshire to see me (ahh!). Anywayyyy, I'd LOVE you to be there for what I hope is the start of a much bigger journey! VIP tix forever for anyone that comes down cos like... you're a legend if so! 🫖🫶

Lots of love, bestea, and I really hope I get to see you there! 💜

p.s. on top of the 2 amazing support acts, I've also got some surprise artists joining me for a few songs 🫖 but you're gunna have to wait until the night to find out who they are 🤫🫶
