Oxman Special: Deptford Dub Club on Friday 23rd October 2020

A sonic bonanza of Roots Reggae, Rocksteady and Ska, this month spotlighting the revered Oxman. Ox is best known for his work with the Dub Vendor and Soul Jazz soundsystems. However Eddie has been at the cutting edge of Reggae for decades, in a variety of roles. He is our favourite selector, but he's also a brilliant toaster, producer and dissemenator of tunes. Currently he has a hit show on Soho Radio.

The oxman will be joined by resident selector Soft Wax. He'll be accompanied by our resident Singjay, Doc Murdoch and other guest vocalists t.b.c.. They will be joined by a live horn section, featuring Tim Topcat and Wicked Will. An extended warm up selection will come from young lioness Dirt Bike Dub. She has a regular show on Portobello Radio.

In the current situation this event will be outdoors and strict social distancing will apply. Prior Booking is essential with a maximum of 6 people per table.

Due to Covid-19, some areas may have local restrictions in place. Travel and group sizes may be restricted depending upon Covid Alert Level.
