Laugh Train Home Comedy on Wednesday 18th July 2018

Laugh Train Home is known for hilarious comedy nights, a fun atmosphere and a bit of the unexpected.

IVO GRAHAM: Motion Sickness (Preview)   A feisty new hour about facing the future named after my fourth favourite Hot Chip song (and a beaut by Phoebe Bridgers).   Mock the Week, Live at The Apollo, As Yet Untitled, Live from The BBC and Fighting Talk.   ‘Sharp punchlines, topper gags and the unmistakable sense of a young comic finding another gear’ The Scotsman   ‘Like Hugh Grant’s less well-adjusted younger brother’ The Guardian     JOHN HASTINGS: Float Like a Butterfly, John Hastings Like a Bee (Preview)       Last year, John Hastings was hit by a car and broke his arm. He then became homeless (his choice) with a long distance girlfriend (her choice) and now has a lot of thoughts on pigeons and bicycles (your choice). A tale of displacement, death and denial (don't worry, there are jokes too).     Comedy Central, BBC Seann Walsh’s Late Night Comedy Spectacular.     ***** (Mirror). ***** (BroadwayBaby.com). **** (Fest). **** (Herald). **** (ThreeWeeks). **** (Melbourne Herald Sun).  Every year, thousands of comics bring comedy shows to the internationally known Edinburgh Fringe Festival. But those shows need to be tweaked and refined, honed and perfected...and that's happening at Laugh Train Home. Don't miss this behind-the-scenes unique opportunity to see these Work in Progress shows. This is how live stand-up comedy is put together.    PLEASE NOTE: We bring the best acts from the UK. But they are also real people. As such, it is rare, but our line-ups are subject to change - family emergencies and last minute TV filming does happen. We will tweet and Facebook any changes we have.
