The gig was simply a bunch of kids who had brought the kit from their bedroom into a dirty, dingy pub.
The dj's, mixing and track selection was extremely poor, we left after giving them 45 minutes have.

Review of Mind Over Matter: Save \'Sound Skool\' & 1st Birthday!

I had always been interested in attending a Mind Over Matter event and the 1st Birthday Special seemed the best time. The Fiddler's Elbow was quite a nice venue and though it was quite packed, there was enough space to slither through. They had a surprisingly wide variety of acts ranging from open mic performers, Soundskool students and countless headline acts. It's a great place to chill, network and enjoy some inspiring poetry and music performances. Ticket price was alright too. Looking to attend future events and see how this poetry night progresses.
