Review of ACASO - Christmas

The place was really crowded. The queues for the toilet were so long. There was no spaces in the cloak room for jack*ts. Too many people in a small space.

Music was amazing, but the toilets at the venue were horrific, continuous flooding in the women's, it was disgusting, every toilet was overflowing, no flush, no toilet roll, it was awful I cannot believe this was the state of the conditions! Unacceptable

the venue itself was completely unsuitable for hosting an event of this nature. There was toilet paper on the actual seating areas within the venue. In addition to this, there were exposed pipes running throughout the floor of the venue, creating an unpleasant smell and posing a serious health and safety risk for attendees.
We got to the event at 11pm (when doors open) however, we were stood outside for 25 minutes, with no updates from any of the staff as to why they were not letting anybody in. However, there were maintenance people running around with the big pipes, sorting out toilet blockages and people running with mops and buckets inside the venue, so I assume they were not ready to open for the disclosed time. 
The layout of the venue was also extremely poorly planned. The cloakroom was positioned directly next to the bathrooms, which led to severe congestion. During this chaos, I was pushed and stamped on. This situation was made significantly worse by the lack of crowd control from the bouncers, who were ineffective and did not manage the flow of people at all.

Furthermore, the music did not reflect what was advertised prior to the event. Many attendees, including myself, attended based on the genre and experience that was promoted, and the reality did not align with this at all.

Overall, the event fell far below an acceptable standard in terms of safety, organisation, hygiene, and delivery. This was a very unpleasant experience and not what was promised when purchasing tickets.
