Alice in Winterland on Wednesday 26th December - Saturday 5th January 2019

“What is the use of a book”, thought Alice, “without pictures or conversations?”

Over 160 giant lanterns and 29 interactive experiences bring to life the timeless classic of Alice in Wonderland in epic proportions to London’s Southwark Park. Slide down the Rabbit Hole as you gaze up at 5 metre tall, hand-made lanterns that will take your imagination beyond the Looking Glass.

You’ll be grinning from ear to ear as you interact with an animated Cheshire Cat before taking part in a larger-than-life chess game, as well as joining the Mad Hatter for an extraordinary Tea Party. Interactive scenes are narrated with childhood innocence, bringing this imaginative classic to the next generation.

“When I used to read fairy tales, I fancied that kind of thing never happened, and now here I am in the middle of one!”

The Alice in Winterland Lantern Spectacular, from 28th November 2018 to 5th January 2019, is a perfect festive treat for children and adults alike. Music, food stalls and even Santa will be part of this limited-time only, world’s first, event. The Alice in Winterland Lantern Spectacular is open from 3pm to 10pm and tickets start from £15.
