Disco Express with Red Rack'em on Friday 25th May 2018
Groove to a soundtrack of NYC's finest club scene. We'll be injecting positive vibes, a feel good selection of boogie 'n' funk, soul 'n' disco and modern edits of household classics.
'Seasoned underground veteran to overnight success'.
Red Rack’em aka Daniel Berman's genre crossing smash ‘Wonky Bassline Disco Banger’ was heard and supported by just about everyone from Moodymann to Elton John.
As the biggest vinyl single of the year (Juno) and record of the year (Phonica) it made huge waves in the electronic music scene. Garnering support from the likes of MCDE, Floating Points, Midland, Crazy P, Todd Terje and Ben UFO has propelled Red Rack'em into the limelight.
Through a colourful 20 year journey, Red Rack'em has established himself as a respected DJ, broadcaster and producer. Diverse on Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM as he is smashing out the darkest dubs on recent Rinse FM shows. Expect a versatile set and Danny's secret disco weapons to come out to play.
From sold out shows at Fabric to XOYO, Lux and Dommune, Red Rack'em has also curated his own Boiler Room show. Running three well regarded record labels: Bergerac, Smugglers Inn and Nettles Berlin-based DJ is at the top of his game.
