Best event I've ever been to in my many years of clubbing. There were people there who wernt even born when shoom was around to people who went to shoom back in 87. The music the atmosphere everything about the night was amazing

OH WOW! This Danny Rampling SPECTACULAR went so far off the scale the needle went past the red zone, an EXPLODED. This was in my diary for months a not to be missed. I still have vivid happy memories of Shoom25, well 35 went to another level. Pulse was the perfect location as this celebration needed SPACE I was very impressed with the venue, superb sound quality, the comfy chill ( it was minus 2 outside! ) out area in the club, and all the Shoom decorations were fab.
Johnny Woo was the perfect host and loved the dancers, one very FIT guy I so had the hot’s for, beautiful men of colour are so my weakness! All the DJ’s were on point, my personal highlights were catching up with so many friends, people that remembered me from previous festivals at The Garden Tisno Croatia, Ilana Rampling’s set oh YEAH I went boogie wonderland crazy for the entire set. Danny’s set of course and the spectacular powerhouse that is Tony Humpries we all went crazy with your classic Chicago House mixes and more.
Meeting my dear friend Chris Folarin again, oh we go way back was pure joy.
Near the end, wearing just a pink bikini I could not resist taking my chances and gate-crashed the main stage, security soon reacted but the lovely Ilana was having none of that and we danced together. The previous memory of me dancing ( very drunk ) at East Bloc NAKED with Ilana is still vivid!
The crowd was terrific, no attitude everyone just having a happy time.
It was maybe over ten years back that I first encountered Danny headlining at The Fridge Brixton. During the set I will never forget watching Danny as he left the DJ box and then climbed down off the stage then danced and greeted the crowds. This is a very special unique memory, and the only occasion I have witnessed such an experience. This speaks volumes about the guy and yet again through-out Shoom35 Danny was mixing with the crowds – with the lovely Ilana you are the perfect combo.
That you both LOVE what you do shines through and is infectious. THANK-YOU.

Evolution

Promo launch for Wrigleys 5Gum Evolution. All around fantastic event.

Has potential, but won't be going back for a long time...

I'll start from the beginning: Got there 15 mins before doors due to open, got to front of q and then waited for 50 minutes to get in. Only when we were let in did we find out it was because the music and lights weren't working (but they'd let some people in so why not us?!). Got in and it was cold and empty (changed pretty quick though!). Found most staff friendly and bar prices okish - not sure why someone has said £10 a pint, I was paying £4.50 for beer or wine, £5.50 spirit mixer. Music played was brilliant, quality of sound dire. Early in the night it hurt all our eardrums then after it going down the second time (poor DJs) it was ok, but they lied about Function 1 soundsystem - speakers at the back weren't even on! Lights and lasers pretty good though. Smoking area good but not sure if legal! I used the upstairs ladies toilet and was fine, but we had to leave at 2am cos my friends' shoes and jeans etc...all got ruined wading through excrement to get from one room to another! Agree what someone else said about the crowd, too many 18 (maybe) yr old boys acting like d1cks. I'll go back in a years time if it's still open and they've sorted out the issues - and reduced the entry fee!

Pulse Grand Opening

First of all Morillo smashed it.! However this club has some major issues and if it wants to be known as a top clubbing venue these need to be sorted soon before its reputation gets any worse.!!!

1. 4500 capacity is a money making joke, you couldnt move let alone dance. This also made it into an absolute sweat box. REDUCE CAPACITY!!
2. crowd was poor, little kids who wouldnt know a good tune if it smacked em in the face. MAKE THIS AN OVER 21s club and soon. When will owners realise the crowd makes the night?
3. Toilets were a joke, most got blocked which means you were literally walking around in ya own piss.!!
4. £25+ a ticket. Thought this was worth it due to be opening night (how wrong i was) however ive seen that this price will continue, rip of.!
Pulse has just been open and for the true clubbers out there it already has a terrible rep. Yeah it will sell out for the next few months because of the hype but i can soon see it going the same way as Matter. A club offering so much with some of the industries best DJs but all the owners can see is £££.

Pulse Grand opening

This club definately does not deserve the 'Super club' title. There was not enough room for all of us, not enough floor space in the whole club to dance!!! £10 a pint! Toilets all over flowing onto the floor so huge puddles every where.. went home filthy!! Sound system crashed twice and took few minutes to come back on and even when it came back on it was still muffled!!! Night what you make of it though and djs were great, just club not up to much!!!
