Mount Kimbie are one of the most revered duos in UK live and electronic music. They curate a truly special night at Printworks on Saturday November 17th. The Warp pair are about to release an essential DJ-Kicks mix as well as impressing with their latest album Love What Survives in September 2017, which found them mix up post-punk, motorik and kraut in arresting new ways. They play a special DJ set with Nina Kraviz, the globe trotting Trip label boss who remixed them to great effect recently, as well as the impossible to define Ben UFO, one third of the Hessle label and the most adventurous DJ of his era. Imogen and Kelly Lee Owens also make their Press Halls debuts as well as a live set from Icelandic IDM innovator and Trip artist Bjarki. Dark Room welcomes lo-fi house, downtempo and ambient experimenter Kassem Mosse for one of his occult live shows, as well as New York’s one man melting pot of all forms of house, techno and electro aka Anthony Naples. American DJ Python plays a live show that will mix up breaks, reggaeton beats, house and a knack for unusual rhythm, Chinese breakthrough star Object Blue brings her whirring machines, twisted rhythms and smudged synths to the party and finally post-punk, coldwave, EBM, techno, italo-disco and more will all be served up in stylish fashion by DEBONAIR.
