Bringing a truly stellar line-up from everybody’s favourite genre, the event will see Lewisham-born vocalist Maxi Priest airing his unique ‘reggae fusion’ sound to the crowd. Widely acclaimed as a pioneer of his R&B/reggae mix, Maxi is best known for tracks such as ‘Close To You’, which has racked up almost 20 million Spotify streams to date. Joining the Londoner is chart-topping collective, Aswad. Made up of Tony Robinson and Angus Gaye, the duo have scored UK number #1 singles in both the 80s and 90s, and will delight attendees to the amazing London venue.
The line-up for the party is rounded off by Dawn Penn, the legendary songstress who scored worldwide success with her 1994 anthem ‘You Don’t Love Me (No No No)’. Beginning her career as early as 1966, Dawn has truly earned her stellar reputation as a giant of UK reggae, with fans of the genre buzzing with excitement at the arrival of a true musical legend.
